Every Imagined Reality Actually Exists
Philosopher David Lewis argued that all possible worlds are just as real as our own. In this view, every scenario you can imagine is not merely a fantasy but a physical reality existing somewhere else in the cosmos.
Modal realism suggests that our world is only one of an infinite number of equally valid realities. The term actual is simply a label we use to describe our location, similar to how we use the word here to describe our current physical spot. This means there are versions of reality where your life took a completely different path. It is a mind-bending way to frame existence, suggesting that possibility is actually a form of geographic location.
