Every year since the 13th century, a village distributes blessed flour to keep a legendary family curse at bay. If the ritual ever stops, the Tichborne line is destined to end in disaster.

This tradition dates back to 1150 when Lady Tichborne, on her deathbed, demanded her husband grant charity to the poor. He mocked her, but after she crawled across the land to secure the land for the village, he finally relented. A mysterious prophecy warned that if the family ever stopped the giveaway, the house would crumble and the family would fail. Even today, the villagers still gather to receive the blessed flour to honor this centuries-old pact.
