Everyone Is A Saint By Definition

While many assume a saint is an exclusive title for the exceptionally holy, early Christian texts use the term to describe every single believer. In several traditions, being a saint is simply an identity shared by all followers.

The idea of a saint as a special, canonized figure developed much later in church history. In the original biblical context, the term was a simple descriptor for any person who dedicated their life to their faith. Today, most Protestant denominations still hold this inclusive view, rejecting the need for a formal selection process.
