Glossolalia is the practice of speaking in fluid, speech-like sounds that lack any coherent meaning. While believers often view these utterances as divine languages, linguists classify them as spontaneous vocalizations.

During this phenomenon, the speaker produces rhythmic syllables that sound like real speech despite having no actual vocabulary or grammar.
