California's Historic Wine Trailblazer

California's Historic Wine Trailblazer

Parducci Wine Cellars holds the title of the very first commercial winery in Mendocino County. Established in 1933, it ignited a regional industry that would eventually become world-famous for its unique viticulture.

After Prohibition ended, the Parducci family founded this historic estate to jumpstart winemaking in Northern California. Although the family eventually lost control to corporate investors, the winery remains a symbol of the area's deep agricultural roots. It has changed hands several times since its founding, reflecting the evolving nature of the modern wine market. Today, it stands as a pioneer that helped turn an overlooked valley into a premium wine destination.
