Kylo was an early web browser specifically engineered for television screens rather than computer desks. By using extra-large buttons and fonts, it allowed users to comfortably browse the internet from ten feet away.

Long before smart TVs became mainstream, people used home theater PCs to bring the web into their living rooms. Standard browsers were unreadable from a distance, so Kylo solved this by optimizing the entire interface for the couch experience. It served as a bridge between the traditional desktop web and the modern streaming devices we use today. Though it has been discontinued, its design language pioneered how we navigate apps on big screens now.
