A Band Built For One Album
The rock band Mystery formed their very own record label just to release their debut album, Theatre of the Mind. This record remains a unique historical snapshot because the entire supporting cast vanished immediately after its release.
When the Canadian band Mystery launched their first studio album in 1996, they established Unicorn Records specifically to get the music into the world. The project served as a singular moment in time, featuring a lineup of musicians who never appeared on another Mystery record together. It took over a decade for the band to regain any member from this original group. This makes the album a rare, fleeting collaboration that defined the band's mysterious start.
