Julius Neubronner originally used his pigeons to deliver medicine, but he soon realized they could serve as mobile cameras. Officials initially doubted his claims until his birds returned with clear, authenticated photographs. These avian photographers even debuted at international exhibitions, selling their aerial postcards to impressed crowds. This ingenious use of nature was a precursor to the surveillance technology we rely on today.
