Creating A Black Hole From Light

You can theoretically create a black hole without any physical matter. By focusing enough intense light or radiation into a single point, you could warp space-time so severely that it traps energy, forming a gravity trap known as a kugelblitz.

Albert Einstein’s general relativity suggests that gravity is caused by energy, not just mass. Because light and heat contain energy, they exert a gravitational pull if packed tightly enough. If you gathered enough light in a small enough volume, it would form an event horizon just like a star collapsing into a black hole. While this remains a theoretical concept, it highlights the mind-bending reality that energy and matter are two sides of the same coin in our universe.
