Acoma Pueblo is one of the oldest continuously inhabited communities in North America. Perched atop a massive, sheer-walled sandstone mesa, it has remained home to native people for nearly a thousand years.

This stunning settlement sits 365 feet above the desert floor, offering natural protection that helped the inhabitants survive for centuries. Known as Sky City, the community has survived through isolation and endurance. Residents have lived here since at least 1100 AD, making it older than almost any other town in the United States. It remains a powerful symbol of cultural resilience against the changing world below.
