Before he became a murderer, Daniel LaPlante terrorized a family by living inside their home's walls for six months. He moved through crawlspaces and hidden voids to watch them without ever being caught.

During his teenage years, LaPlante managed to remain undetected inside the walls of a home in Massachusetts for half a year. He would emerge at night to manipulate the family's environment and frighten them, creating a real-life horror scenario that seemed impossible. His terrifying ability to hide in plain sight went beyond common stalking, turning a private sanctuary into a cage. This disturbing history of home invasion eventually escalated into a string of brutal crimes in 1987.
