The Jet Engine Designed For Dreamliners

The GE GEnx engine is a high-tech powerhouse that helps planes fly further on less fuel. Its unique design uses advanced materials to cut weight while significantly reducing noise and carbon emissions during flight.

This engine powers both the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and the massive Boeing 747-8. It features blades made from carbon fiber composites, which are much lighter and more durable than traditional metal parts. These innovations allow modern aircraft to operate with far greater efficiency than their predecessors. It is essentially the mechanical heart that makes long-haul travel more sustainable today.
