Australia's First Official War Artist

Will Dyson was not a soldier with a rifle, but a political cartoonist who helped define how the world viewed the horrors of the Western Front. He was the very first person appointed as Australia's official war artist.

Dyson gained fame in London for his biting, satirical cartoons that championed social reform and attacked inequality.
