Most Robots Do Not Look Human
While sci-fi movies feature robots that look like people, the vast majority are actually specialized tools designed purely for efficiency. Most robots are simply industrial arms or automated machines that prioritize task performance over human traits.
We often imagine robots as walking, talking humanoids, but the reality is far more utilitarian. Most robots work silently in factories, performing repetitive tasks like welding or assembly with extreme precision. Because human features add unnecessary complexity, manufacturers favor functional designs that work faster than we ever could. These mechanical workhorses are the true backbone of modern automation.
