The Mystery of the Vanished Lung Language

Lung was a distinct language once spoken in Cameroon, but it is now entirely extinct. It remains a mystery to researchers because it left almost no trace behind for linguists to study.

This obscure language appears to have been closely related to Ajumbu, a local Southern Bantoid tongue. Because so little evidence of Lung survived, it is considered poorly attested by historians.
