The French Mansion Without Any Corners

The French Mansion Without Any Corners

Designed by Antti Lovag, the Palais Bulles is a sprawling French estate composed entirely of spheres. It completely rejects straight lines, featuring rounded rooms and curved hallways that defy traditional architecture.

This unique bubble house was originally commissioned by a wealthy industrialist before becoming the iconic getaway for fashion legend Pierre Cardin. Every inch of the structure mimics organic shapes found in nature to better suit the needs of the human body. By removing sharp angles, the design aims to create a fluid living space that feels like a cluster of caves. Today, it remains one of the most eccentric and visually striking properties on the Mediterranean coast.
