Global Chaos in Academic Grading

There is no universal standard for academic success. A top mark in one country might be considered failing or impossible in another, making global comparisons surprisingly difficult.

For instance, in some nations, a perfect score is virtually never given, making a high B equivalent to an A elsewhere.
