The Logical Paradox of Eternal Damnation
The existence of hell creates a deep theological dilemma. If a creator is all-knowing and all-powerful, they essentially orchestrate every human sin before it happens, making eternal punishment for those actions seem morally impossible.
This dilemma pits the idea of human free will against the concept of divine omniscience. If a deity knows your entire future before you are born, your choices may not be as free as they appear. It becomes difficult to justify eternal suffering when the creator essentially designed the path that led to that outcome. Philosophers have debated this contradiction for centuries, as it challenges the traditional view of a perfectly loving and just supreme being.
